Khaki Seventies Safari Dress
This product is currently sold out.
This dress is the ultimate combination of Yves Saint Laurent’s sixties safari look and the American seventies show Charlie’s Angels. It is definitely vintage, but not at all in a costume-y way. It could be worn to work, dinner, or a cocktail party with a chic pair of heels and the right handbag. It was made in France in the 1970s by Création Mademoiselle, and it features a detachable collar and a slimming cut. It is a vintage French size 34, so it will only fit those with small waistlines, but it will look great on short- to average-height women with heels and tall women with either flats or heels. The mannequin is a size medium, so the dress will not button, but it will fit a size extra small waist. Excellent vintage condition. (Styling note: I strongly dislike the belt that it comes with, but I included it just in case. I recommend that you pair it with a belt that you already own. It would look especially great with a dark green, brown, or black belt.)
